Geoff Scodie has a diverse range of work experience in the real estate industry. Geoff started their career at DTZ as a Senior Surveyor in 2004 and worked there until 2008. Geoff then joined PwC as a Senior Manager in the Real Estate Deals team, where they gained experience in multijurisdictional insolvency, loan workout, and CMBS structures. During their time at PwC, they handled various advisory and executory projects, including strategic analysis and valuation of a UK NPL portfolio, restructuring and loan workout advisory for Special Servicers, and asset management and sale of commercial properties on behalf of Administrators. In 2010, Geoff worked as a Secondee in the Real Estate Loan Management Unit at HSBC. Geoff later joined Brookfield Financial as a Vice President in 2014, where they stayed until 2017. Currently, Geoff is the Head of Broadgate Asset Management at British Land, a position they have held since 2019.
Geoff Scodie obtained their LLB (Hons) degree in Law from the University of Birmingham in the years 2000 to 2003. Geoff then pursued further education and obtained an MA (with Distinction) in Property Valuation and Law from Bayes Business School in the years 2003 to 2004. In pursuit of their professional goals, they enrolled in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors from 2004 to 2006, where they earned the MRICS qualification and became a Qualified Chartered Surveyor. Geoff Scodie's most recent educational endeavor was at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), where they attended from 2014 to 2015.
