Robert Stickland

Portfolio Director at British Land

Robert Stickland has extensive experience in the property and real estate industry. Robert has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 2000 with Prudential Property Investment Managers as a Centre Director. Robert then moved on to GVA Grimley Limited as a Centre Director at Queensmere Observatory from 2004 to 2007. From 2008 to 2013, Stickland worked at Broadgate Estates as a Client Director and then transitioned to the role of Estate Director. In 2017, they joined Storey as an Operational Director. Currently, Stickland is serving as a Portfolio Director at British Land, a position they have held since November 2018.

Robert Stickland has a diverse education history. In 1989, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography at the University of Liverpool. Following this, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Planning at the University of Nottingham, specializing in Town & Country Planning.

Later, Stickland attended The University of Reading's College of Estates Management from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Diploma in Shopping Centre Management accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). In 2010, they returned to the University of Reading and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying with a focus on Property Management through the RICS Conversion Route program at the College of Estates Management.

To enhance their knowledge in the field of real estate, Stickland attended the Oxford Real Estate Programme in 2018 at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. This program provided him with specialized insights into real estate.
