Sandra Howitt

Sandra Howitt has extensive experience in emergency response and management, serving at the British Red Cross since September 2005 in various capacities, including Project Manager for Volunteer Transformation in Crisis and Emergency Response, Interim Head of Crisis Response, and Senior Logistics Manager. Sandra has a strong track record in logistics management, ensuring the delivery of optimal care to service users. Prior to this, Sandra held the position of UK Emergency Planning Officer, focusing on the enhancement of emergency planning, response, and recovery capabilities in alignment with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. Additionally, Sandra managed regeneration programs at SWRDA and served as an Accident and Emergency sister at Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust. Sandra holds a General Nursing degree from BWSoN and completed secondary education at Brune Park County High School.
