Teresa Goncalves

Teresa Goncalves is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in international communications and crisis response. Since December 2015, Teresa has held various senior roles at the British Red Cross, currently serving as the International Media Manager, where responsibilities include developing media strategies, journalist engagement, and collaborating across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement. Previous roles include Global Communications Coordinator for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' COVID-19 Response and media engagement during multiple crises, including the Manchester and London Bridge attacks. Teresa's earlier experience includes positions at the British Lung Foundation and Médecins Sans Frontières, coupled with a strong educational background with a Master's in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor's in History and International Relations from the University of Nottingham.
