Daphnée Cook

Daphnée Cook is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media and public relations within the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as the Head of Global News at Save the Children International since November 2017, Daphnée has held various roles including Regional Media Manager for East and Southern Africa and Global Media Manager. Prior experience includes the position of Communications Advisor at CARE and Membership Coordinator at The Australian Council for International Development. Daphnée's earlier career features roles such as Communications and Membership Development Manager at People with Disability Australia Inc., Media & Communications Officer at the Indonesian Business Coalition on AIDS, and Media/Fundraising Officer at the Darfur Australian Network. Daphnée's academic credentials include a Master of Public Policy with a major in Economic Policy from The Australian National University and a double Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) & International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney.
