Aziza Tickley

Ms. Aziza Tickley completed her Bachelor of Education in Derbyshire, UK. She has worked in most primary year groups, alongside being a lead coordinator in numerous subjects and pastoral areas. Whilst working as an Assistant Head Teacher in Leicester City, she was given a bursary to complete her MA in Education and specialised in Emotional Intelligence in Primary Schools. Having moved to the UAE 10 years ago, to teach in an international school, she feels privileged to have witnessed her previous school grows from 400 to 1800 students in 9 years. Many know about her love for flying and hanging around airports! Moving to Alexandria, she hopes to learn Arabic and fully immerse herself in the history of the country, whilst making new lifelong friends. Her ambition is to further pursue her love for textiles/abstract art in order to develop programmes for healing, memory making and trauma care.
