Elena Solcan has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Elena began their career as an IT Recruiter at Senior Group, where they managed full-cycle recruitment for multiple job requisitions. Elena later joined Senior Software as an HR Generalist and eventually became an HR Coordinator/HR Business Partner. At Rompetrol (KMG International), they held roles as an Organizational Effectiveness & Efficiency Officer and a Senior HR Process Improvement Expert. Currently, they are the Head of HR at the British School of Bucharest, where they advise on HR transformation, oversees solution implementation, integrates innovative approaches, and builds an efficient HR strategy aligned with business needs.

Elena Solcan began their education at the Economic High School in Rm. Valcea from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Economics. Elena then attended the University of Bucharest from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a degree in Sociology. From 2006 to 2008, Elena pursued a Master's degree in Social Psychology at the University of Bucharest. In 2013, they attended a Leader Coach program focused on Business and Life Coaching.

In addition to their formal education, Elena has also obtained multiple certifications. In 2021, they completed a course on "How to Design and Deliver Training Programs" offered by LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained several certifications including "Become an Agile Project Manager," "Introduction to SuccessFactors Foundation Module," "Leading during Times of Change," "Managing Change," "Adaptive Project Leadership," "HR and Digital Transformation," "Organization Design," and "Process Improvement Foundations," all through LinkedIn.
