Gemma Pickett

Gemma Pickett is an experienced professional in the field of forensic science and organizational learning, currently serving as the Head of the Lessons Exploitation Centre at British Transport Police since November 2011. In this role, Gemma has led initiatives for lessons learned and continuous improvement, directly supporting over 5,000 officers and staff. Prior experience includes roles as a Forensic Laboratory Technician and Deputy Laboratory Services Supervisor, where Gemma oversaw critical forensic processes and represented the force at regional meetings. Additionally, Gemma is a Director and Business Manager at Bramblefern Properties Ltd since November 2018. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Applied Entomology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Forensic Science from London South Bank University.
