Matthew Ogunsanya

Matthew Ogunsanya is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in sports medicine and performance health management. Currently serving as the Arsenal Women Performance Medical Lead at Arsenal F.C. since July 2022, Matthew oversees the delivery of sports medicine and physiotherapy, focusing on player health and injury management. Additionally, Matthew holds positions as Associate Lecturer in Anatomy at Anglia Ruskin University, Deputy Chief Medical Officer at British Universities & Colleges Sport, and England Development Teams Doctor with The Football Association. Previous roles include First Team Lead Doctor and Academy Doctor at Watford Football Club, as well as various medical positions in accident and emergency and general practice.
