Sophie Kitson

Sophie Kitson is currently serving as the Tennis Programme Coordinator at British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) since September 2023. With extensive experience in the tennis and sports education sectors, Sophie has held various roles including Member of Kent Tennis Youth Development Group, LTA Official, and Chair Umpire Grade U3. Notably, Sophie has officiated at prestigious events such as Wimbledon and has been an LTA Level 2 Accredited Tennis Coach. Additional contributions include leadership roles as UKC Tennis President and UKC Women’s Tennis Captain, as well as coaching positions at Kent Sport and The King's School, Canterbury. Sophie graduated with First Class Honours in BSc Forensic Science from the University of Kent in July 2023, having previously studied Physics with Astrophysics.
