Francis Lachance

Francis Lachance, CPA, CA, serves as Associate Vice-President at Briva Finance since November 2018, focusing on flexible interim financing solutions for businesses. Previously, Francis held the position of Vice-President of Corporate Financing at Fiera Financement Privé from June 2014 to October 2018, and before that, served as Vice-President of Commercial Banking at BMO Financial Group from September 2011 to May 2014, where responsibilities included managing a team of Account Directors and contributing to regional strategic initiatives. Earlier experience includes directing regional personal and commercial banking at Banque Nationale, achieving the top annual performance across 21 regions in 2010, and overseeing a significant commercial loan portfolio. Additional roles include credit risk management and major account management, as well as a position as Inspector for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada. Francis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from HEC Montréal and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at the same institution.
