Brad Huber

Brad Huber is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and smart device technology. Currently serving as the VP of Smart Devices and Chief Engineer at Brivo since February 2020, Brad focuses on delivering exceptional access control and smart home solutions for the rental industry, including smart apartments and vacation rentals. Previously, as CEO of Parakeet from December 2013 to February 2020, Brad led efforts in home automation aimed at enhancing the control of rental properties. Brad's earlier roles include senior software engineering at Lockheed Martin, where development of software for small unmanned aerial systems was undertaken, as well as significant positions at Procerus Technologies, Broadwing Communications, and as a research assistant at Brigham Young University. Brad holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, completed in 2009 and 2005, respectively.
