Jim joined Brixmor Property Group in 2016, bringing over 20 years of extensive commercial real estate experience with him. His passion and leadership is grounded in a deep belief that retail shopping centers should do more than reflect the surrounding community: they should be an integral part of local daily life.

"As we more forward, our mission as a Company is to own the center of the communities we serve. We want our centers to be relevant, we want them to be local and we want them to thrive."

Jim is a Trustee for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a member of its Executive Board and serves on the Advisory Board of Governors for the National Real Estate Investment Trust (Nareit). He holds a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Virginia and is a Trustee for the university's Jefferson Trust. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Jim lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
