Joe Leverone has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joe began their career as an intern at 13WHAM-TV, where they gained experience in writing web articles and shadowing reporters. Joe then worked as a news promotions producer and assignment editor/web producer at the same company, showcasing their skills in writing, editing, and utilizing social media platforms for promotion. Joe also served as a media coordinator at Butler/Till, where they were responsible for media buying and market research. Joe further expanded their expertise in digital advertising as an account coordinator at Simpli.fi, creating strategic campaigns for clients and performing extensive reporting. Joe also worked as a search coordinator at Wray Ward, optimizing paid search campaigns and providing website analytics for clients. Prior to that, they worked as a marketing consultant, assisting with nonprofit media relations and managing social media campaigns for small businesses. Joe then joined excelerate Digital, where they held roles as a display specialist and senior programmatic display strategist, utilizing various advertising platforms and tools to create targeted media mixes for clients. Currently, they are the director of media services at Brkthru, where they lead the media services team and oversees media strategy and execution. Overall, Joe has a strong background in media services, strategy, and digital advertising.

Joe Leverone attended SUNY Geneseo from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. Joe has also obtained various certifications, including the Executive Program certification from The Trade Desk Edge Academy and the Data-Driven Planning certification from The Trade Desk. In 2018, they became Political Advertiser Verified by Facebook. Additionally, they completed the Google AdWords Search certification in July 2017, and they have certifications with Google in DoubleClick Bid Manager and DoubleClick Campaign Manager.
