Christina Cuomo

Director, Fungal Genomics at Broad Institute

Christina Cuomo is a Professor of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Brown University since July 2023. With extensive experience at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since 2003, Christina serves as the Director of Fungal Genomics and Associate Director of Genomic Data at the Genomic Center for Infectious Disease, focusing on the use of computational methods to investigate fungal pathogens through genomic and transcriptomic analyses. Previous roles include Senior Group Leader and Group Leader in Fungal Genome Sequencing & Analysis, and Research Scientist II at the Whitehead Institute from 2002 to 2003. Christina holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard University and an A.B. in Biology from Bryn Mawr College.
