Dyann F. Wirth

Dyann F. Wirth is the Richard Pearson Strong Professor of Infectious Diseases and Chair of the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where Wirth has been active since 1982. Additionally, Wirth serves as a Senior Associate Member at the Broad Institute, a position held since 2005. Wirth's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Biology from Harvard University, a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Biochemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Fullbright Fellowship in Biochemistry from The University of Freiburg, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
