George Grant

George Grant has extensive experience in software engineering and data science, currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at the Broad Institute since July 2004, with previous roles including Manager of Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at the same institution. Prior to this, George held leadership positions at LION Bioscience Research, Inc. and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Whitehead Institute. Earlier experience includes consulting at Arthur D. Little and roles as a Systems Engineer at Scanalytics and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University. George's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UC Berkeley and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
