Gillian MacKay-Smith

Gillian Mackay-Smith has extensive experience in operational management and strategic people initiatives, currently serving as Senior Advisor to the Chief Operating Officer and Associate Director of People Strategy and Special Projects at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since July 2011. In this role, Gillian collaborates with the Chief People Officer on critical activities, including strategic planning and internal communications. Previous positions at the Broad Institute include Manager of Administrative Operations and Administrative Lead, focusing on organizational management and support staff advocacy. Before this, Gillian served as Assistant to the General Counsel and Legal Assistant at ILFC from October 2007 to August 2010. Gillian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Northeastern University, earned in 2004.
