Jayu Jen is a seasoned researcher specializing in cancer biology with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Group Lead for Paralog Target Discovery at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since April 2022, Jayu has spearheaded initiatives to identify therapeutic target pairs and resistance mechanisms across more than 200 cancer cell models, collaborating with various cross-functional teams. Previous roles at the same institution included Team Lead and Research Scientist I, contributing significantly to biomarker-driven strategies. Prior to the Broad Institute, Jayu served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NYU Langone Health, focusing on therapeutic vulnerabilities and drug resistance in cancer types. Further academic training includes a Ph.D. in Cancer Research from National Cheng Kung University, where research accomplishments encompassed characterizing transcriptional networks and identifying biomarkers for lung adenocarcinoma.
