Laura Doherty

Laura Doherty is a Research Scientist II at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since July 2021, where involvement in the PRISM team focuses on utilizing experimental and data analytical methods to investigate the mechanisms of novel cancer therapeutics in collaboration with industry partners. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Candidate at Harvard University from September 2015 to July 2021, conducting research on the therapeutic potential of deubiquitinating enzymes, and fulfilling teaching roles, including Head Teaching Fellow for a course that integrates science with cooking to enhance student engagement. Laura's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Harvard University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
