Liam de Monaco

Liam De Monaco is an Associate Researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since July 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Engert Lab at Harvard University from February 2022 to May 2024, where research focused on neural development, involving the collection of data from larval zebrafish and designing experimental environments for behavioral assays. Additionally, Liam held the position of Chief Personnel Officer at Harvard Student Agencies from August 2022 to November 2023, implementing strategies that saved the organization over $35,000 in wages, streamlining payroll processes for over 700 employees, and overseeing recruitment efforts for a significant number of managerial positions. Liam has also completed two research internships at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018 and 2019. Liam completed a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Harvard University, graduating in 2024.
