Aniket Deo

Aniket Deo is an Associate Researcher at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since July 2022, focusing on the development of Climate Smart Land Use Planning Models. Previously, Aniket served as Project Manager for the Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture under the Government of Maharashtra, where responsibilities included exploring value addition routes for Farmer Producer Companies in the Marathwada and Vidarbha regions. Aniket has also worked as an Independent Consultant at the Tata Center for Technology and Design and held research fellow positions at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Early experience includes implementing solar dryers for Amchur processing at BAIF Development Research Foundation and leading a college team in the design and fabrication of an All-Terrain Vehicle for BAJA SAEINDIA. Aniket holds a PhD in Operations Research in Agriculture and an M.Tech in Technology and Development from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, as well as a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Symbiosis International University.
