Rachel Klahr

Rachel Klahr is an experienced payroll professional with a diverse background in managing payroll services across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Payroll Services at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since January 2022, Rachel previously held significant leadership roles, including Director of Payroll Operations at Indigo and Senior Payroll Transformation Leader at Novanta Inc. Rachel has demonstrated a strong ability to manage payroll for domestic and international employees, implement compliance controls, and achieve substantial cost savings through contract negotiations. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University, Rachel has developed a comprehensive skill set that includes payroll processing, tax reconciliation, and regulatory filings, complemented by successful project management across multiple payroll systems.
