Susanne Jakob currently serves as Associate Director of Clinical Strategy and Alliances at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, having previously held roles such as Senior Consortium and Outreach Manager and Project Manager for Scientific Communication and Outreach. Prior experience includes serving as an Instructor at Harvard University Extension School and a Preceptor at Harvard University’s Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology. Susanne has a robust research background, including postdoctoral training at HHMI focusing on pheromone detection in mice and at the Medical Research Council analyzing the functions of ovarian-specific genes in testis development. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology and Embryology from UCL and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University. Susanne has presented research at several prominent scientific meetings.
