Shyam Kaundinya

Shyam Kaundinya is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in software and systems. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Broadata Communications, Inc., since December 2019, Shyam leads multiple teams in the development of HDMI 2 technologies. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Raytheon Digital Force Technologies, where Shyam designed a portable multi-channel DVR for reconnaissance applications, and CEO of ASKICODE, LLC, specializing in embedded system software consulting. Additional consulting experiences at ARM, Novatel Wireless, and A2e Technologies involved advanced embedded systems development. Shyam's career began in various engineering positions at companies like Wilinx Corporation, Kiyon, Staccato Communications, and Avid Technology, contributing significantly to device driver development and firmware management. Shyam holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and an MS in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota, complemented by education from UCSD Extension.
