Jon Armstrong

Jon is a Professional Geologist with over 28 years of experience in the environmental consulting and oil and gas industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and a Master of Science degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Kentucky. Collectively he has worked for approximately eight years in environmental consulting and approximately 20 years for British Petroleum and its affiliates. He joined Broadbent in 2021 primarily to manage large oil company clientele. His varied experience includes performance and management of soil and groundwater characterization and remediation, procurement and supply chain management, contract management, land management, and safety and technical services. Jon leverages his broad experience to navigate complex client relations effectively and efficiently to assure smooth and successful completion of each project. His signature strengths are teamwork, perseverance, enthusiasm, leadership, and continuous improvement. Away from work Jon enjoys being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends on the water, in the mountains, or at concerts.
