Buchanan started their career at Philips Consumer Electronics in 2000 as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Controller Function of the Monitors Business Unit. John then moved to Newell Rubbermaid in 2003 as a Finance Supervisor for the Rubbermaid Home Products Business Unit. In 2007, Buchanan was promoted to Corp. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Ferro Corporation.
In 2014, Buchanan left Ferro Corporation to join Remington Arms Company as their Director, Corporate FP&A and Assistant Treasurer. John held this position until 2016 when they joined BMI.
John Buchanan has a BS in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and an MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship from The University of Akron. John is certified as a CMA - Certified Management Accountant from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants.
