George Shih

George Shih is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Senior Manager of AMER Solutions Architects at Broadcom since November 2023. Prior to this role, George Shih held various positions at VeloCloud, now part of VMware, from November 2017 to November 2023, including Solutions Architect for SASE and Edge Compute, and Systems Engineering Manager for SD-WAN & SASE. George's career also includes roles at Silver Peak as a Systems Engineer, and a tenure at Level 3, where responsibilities included Senior Network Application Engineer. George began in the industry at Tachyon Networks, progressing from Director of Sales Engineering to Sales Engineer and Network Engineer positions. George Shih earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego from 1992 to 1996.
