Sarah Waterfield

Sarah Waterfield is an experienced communications and social media professional currently working as a freelancer at BroadReach since May 2024, having previously served in various roles including Social Media and Communications Specialist and Coordinator from 2019 to May 2023. Prior to this, Sarah was an Account Manager at Be-cause Integrated Communications from 2016 to 2019, where responsibilities included managing communications for multiple accounts and securing media coverage. Additional experience includes tutoring and mentoring Social Anthropology students at the University of Cape Town, interning as a research assistant for Peter Oborne, teaching English at Denla Kindergarten, and conducting undergraduate research at Rhodes University focused on traditional music in the Eastern Cape. Sarah holds a BA Honours in Social Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Anthropology and Ethnomusicology from Rhodes University, along with a qualification in Digital Content & Copywriting from Red & Yellow Creative School of Business.
