Richard Chern

Richard Chern is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property and procurement. Currently serving as Chief IP Counsel at Broadridge since July 2011, Richard has also held the positions of Chief Counsel for Procurement and Vice President & Senior Corporate & IP Counsel within the company. Prior to Broadridge, Richard worked at Greenberg Traurig, LLP as Of Counsel in the IP Department from January 2006 to May 2011, and at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP as an Associate in the IP Department from January 2001 to January 2006. Richard holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Cornell University, with an educational background that began at Stuyvesant High School.
