Bryan Da Frota

Bryan da Frota is the COO of ListEngage. He got his start at Prioria Robotics, a company that he co-founded in 2003. Prioria is a developer of small, unmanned aerial vehicle systems and their related technologies. During his time at the company, he secured over $15M in venture capital, oversaw 5 product introductions that resulted in lifetime sales of $23M in revenue, and grew the company to 40 people. Prioria created over 13 issued patents and was one of the first companies to successfully sell unmanned aircraft both domestically and internationally.

Bryan left Prioria at the end of 2015, and went to Pate Enterprises, where he helped a family office prepare some of its business units for sale. His time at Pate gave him insight into the issues that business owners in the lower middle market face when trying to retire from their business and the value that can be unlocked by helping these businesses transition successfully.

His experience includes: growing small and medium-sized businesses, product line expansion, strategy, fundraising, personnel management, and regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR/DSS/FAA). He is an expert at the application of technology to improve processes and operating businesses in highly regulated environments.

He has served on the Board of Directors of professional associations, civic organizations, and businesses. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Meridian Behavioral Health and Career Source Florida. He is a State of Florida Workforce Ambassador, North Florida Top 40 under 40, and Gainesville Impact Award Winner. He is also the past president of Dance Alive National Ballet and a volunteer for Youth Combine.

Bryan holds a BA in Business and Religion from the University of Florida. He lives with his wife, Jamie, his daughter, Maya and his son, Sebastian, in Gainesville, Florida.
