Douglas Pekola is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Compliance Analyst and Compliance Specialist at Broadview Federal Credit Union since August 2014, Douglas has played a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance within this merged entity. Prior to this, Douglas held positions at SEFCU, where responsibilities included monitoring compliance across a $2.775 billion credit union. Douglas's experience also encompasses roles at VALUEOPTIONS, INC., where oversight of the Federal Reporting team was managed, and previous compliance positions at CAPITAL COMMUNICATIONS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION and MEMBERS UNITED CORPORATE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, where Douglas contributed significantly to compliance and risk management efforts. Douglas began a career in finance at MEMBERS UNITED CORPORATE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION in various analytical and member service roles after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University at Albany in 1993.
