Scott Cortez

Scott Cortez serves as EVP and Dallas Market President at Broadway Bank since December 2022, contributing to an independent Texas bank with over 80 years of service. Previously, Scott held the position of Executive Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager at Pegasus Bank from February 2021 to September 2022, and prior to that, served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Commercial Banking at Prosperity Bank from June 1999 to February 2021, during which 20+ years were spent at LegacyTexas Bank before its acquisition by Prosperity Bank. Scott's early career includes roles as Vice President of Commercial Lending at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from January 1997 to June 1999 and at Bank of America from October 1986 to January 1997. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana State University, obtained from 1982 to 1986, and graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1982.
