Janelle Sutton is an experienced costume designer and educator with a strong background in theatrical production and costume design. Currently serving as a Costume Designer at Broadway Rose Theatre Company since April 2022 and as Part-Time Faculty and Costume Designer at Mt. Hood Community College since September 2019, Janelle has also held roles such as Business Manager at Howling Hounds PDX since March 2019 and Costume Designer at Enlighten Theatrics from August 2018 to November 2019. Previous experience includes costume design positions at Milagro Theatre, Camelot Theatre, and OpenStage Theatre & Company, along with a role as Seasonal Stitcher at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Janelle has academic credentials that include a Master of Science in Apparel and Textiles and a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Colorado State University, where Janelle also served as Costume Shop Director and Adjunct Professor from August 2011 to February 2016.
