Lindsay Schmeling

Lindsay Schmeling is an experienced costume designer with a diverse portfolio in theater. Currently serving as the Resident Costume Designer and Costume Designer for Playhouse on the Square and Circuit Playhouse since July 2016, Lindsay previously held the position of Resident Costume Designer at Springer Opera House from August 2012 to June 2016. Additional experience includes roles at Chicago Costume Company, SHATTERED GLOBE THEATRE, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Stage Door Johnnies, Organic Theater Company, Corpo Dance, and Lexington Children's Theatre. Lindsay's educational background includes an MFA in Costume Design from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the College of Charleston, along with studies at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
