Kathy Kerr-Carpenter

Kathy Kerr-Carpenter is a seasoned professional in the costume design and education sectors, currently serving as the Costume Shop Supervisor at Broadway Sacramento since 2016, where oversight of workflow and employee management takes place for seasonal musical theatre productions. Kathy has extensive experience as a Cutter/Draper at Sacramento Theatre Company since 2015, supervising costume production and refurbishment. Academic contributions include roles as an Adjunct Professor at American River College and Sacramento City College. Kathy has held leadership positions such as Program Director at the International Academy of Design and Technology, and Associate Pastor at Point Pleasant United Methodist Church. With a Doctorate in Management from Colorado Technical University and multiple degrees in the arts and theology, Kathy combines a strong creative background with effective management skills.
