Gil Mayo

Gil’s career encompasses over 30 years of experience in manufacturing companies in the metal fabrication, electrical products, paperboard packaging and rubber industries. Gil has been a member of the Broadwind team since January 2015 and has served as President, Red Wolf Company LLC since September 2017. Prior to joining Broadwind, Gil spent over sixteen years in the Scott Fetzer Company, serving in various leadership roles, including President of the Halex Company, a leading national manufacturer of electrical fittings and accessories. Prior to that, he held senior operations leadership positions in both the Fort James Company and Michelin Tire Corporation. Prior to his career in industry, Gil served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps for five years. Gil holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Arts degree from Webster University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Clemson University.
