Andrew Peterson's work experience begins in 1994, when they worked as an Assistant Professor at Duke University. Andrew then moved on to become a Principal Investigator at UCSF Medical Center in 1999. In 2005, they joined Genentech as a Senior Scientist and later held positions as an Associate Director, Director of Molecular Biology and Metabolic Disease, and Senior Director of Molecular Biology and Metabolic Disease. In 2019, they became the Chief Scientific Officer at MEDGENOME before transitioning to the role of Principal at SRGM Consulting in the same year. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Broadwing Bio, starting in September 2020.

Andrew Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Genetics from the University of Washington. Andrew also acquired a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics from Harvard University.
