Cary Carter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career at Frankfort Equipment Company in 1984, where they worked as a Sales Representative until November 1987. Following that, they joined the Indiana Department of Transportation as a Sub-District Superintendent from October 1987 to December 1988. In 1989, Cary Carter joined Brock Grain Systems and held various positions, including Customer Service Manager from 1989 to 1995, Purchasing Manager from 1995 to 2004, and Plant Superintendent - Materials Manager from 2004 to 2017. Most recently, they have been serving as the Plant Manager, a role they held from May 2017 until the present time. Additionally, Cary Carter's current role at Brock Grain Systems is Vice President of Supply Chain and Operational Excellence, which they assumed in January 2022.
Cary Carter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics-Business Management from Purdue University between the years 1982 and 1984. Subsequently, in 2004, Cary pursued higher education and obtained an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006. Additionally, Cary holds several certifications, including a Product Management Certificate from Cornell University obtained in April 2020, a Lean Six Sigma certification from Purdue University obtained in April 2012, and a CPIM certification from APICS obtained in 2009. Cary also possesses an SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute obtained in 2007 and a C.P.M. certification from the Institute for Supply Management.
