Stacey Whitacre Pruitt is a Project Manager and Senior Archaeologist at Brockington and Associates since June 2014, with a prior role as a Crew Chief at New South Associates, Inc. in April 2014, focusing on metal detecting for a French military encampment investigation in Maryland. Stacey served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology from August 2011 to May 2013, conducting archaeological excavations for the South Carolina Army National Guard. Earlier experience includes working as a Field Technician at Brockington and Associates, as well as research and field roles at Georgia State University and its Archaeological Field School. Stacey holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Anthropology and History from Georgia State University.
