Matthew Callaghan

Matthew Callaghan has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. In that year, they began working as a Software Developer for HostaVirtualEvent, where they wrote backend code for user management, reporting, billing and customer management. In 2014, they moved to SolarWinds as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for delivering software to customers and writing C# code in an Agile environment. In 2018, they joined Broker Insights as the Head Of Technology, where they had involvement across the company in all aspects of technical delivery. Matthew was also fiscally responsible with the management of a half million+ budget, salary review, service contract negotiations and all other technical department costs. Matthew also grew the team by appointing a software development manager and further QA resources.

Matthew Callaghan completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Abertay University from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science - BS in Computing (Games Development) at Abertay University from 2002 to 2006.
