Matthew Plata

Matthew Plata is an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Brompton Bicycle, where Matthew brings innovative ideas to reality through new product introduction, process, and facility development. Prior to this role, Matthew has held positions such as New Product Engineering Manager and NPI Manufacturing Engineer at the same company. Matthew also took a solo sabbatical travel year in 2018, demonstrating independence, budgeting, communication skills, and cultural adaptability. Before that, Matthew worked at Jaguar Land Rover as a BIW Development Engineer and completed a 1st Class Honours MEng in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol. Additionally, Matthew gained experience as a summer intern at BP in the Maintenance & Reliability Team.
