Velois Bowers

VeLois Bowers has an extensive work experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). VeLois is currently the VP, Chief Diversity Officer at Bronson Healthcare since July 2023. Prior to that, they owned and worked as a Principal Consultant at VHB Diversity & Inclusion Consultants from June 2015 to July 2023. VeLois also worked as the VP, Diversity and Inclusion at CHRISTUS Health from December 2010 to June 2015. Additionally, they held the positions of SVP, Diversity and Inclusion at Trinity Health from December 2006 to November 2010, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion at Kellogg Company from July 2004 to December 2006, and Vice President Global Diversity at Whirlpool Corporation from July 1999 to October 2004. VeLois Bowers started their career at Kellogg Company where they held various roles including Director, Staffing, Employee Relations & Diversity from February 1999 to July 1999, Human Resource Business Partner from November 1997 to July 1998, Manager, HR Services from July 1996 to December 1997, and Sr. Compensation Analyst from January 1994 to July 1996.

VeLois Bowers completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from 1977 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. VeLois also obtained a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Georgetown University.
