Tegest Hailu

Tegest Hailu is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and performance improvement. Currently serving as a Performance Improvement Manager and Registered Nurse at BronxCare Health System since July 2020, Tegest has previously worked as an Onsite Coordinator at Health Advocate and held positions as a Registered Nurse at both Hamilton Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Interactive Health, where responsibilities included organizing biometric screening events and coaching clients on health. Early career experiences include roles as an EMT-B with Medforce Ambulance and a Productions Operator at LifeCell, focusing on tissue-based product manufacturing. Academically, Tegest is pursuing a Master of Nursing degree from DeSales University, having earned a Bachelor of Nursing from Emory University and a Master's in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, alongside a Bachelor's in Public Health from Rutgers University.
