Kenya Jay Scarlett

Kenya Jay Scarlett is an experienced professional currently serving as the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Lead at Brook, where a new EDI strategy and annual action plan are being developed and monitored. As the founder of Emotion Solidarity, Kenya promotes mental health awareness through clothing, meetups, and events. Previous roles include Community Engagement Officer at Action for Community Development, Campaigns Assistant at Good Law Project, and Producer/Reporter at QueerAF. Additionally, Kenya has worked in sound engineering and audio production for organizations such as Storythings, Monocle, and others, with a background in Radio and Broadcast Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London, and Popular Music Journalism from Solent University.
