Kate Jensen

Kate Jensen (formerly Gabrielson) has a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. Kate started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2011 as an Experienced Associate, where they gained experience in managing and coaching junior team members and tested complex areas of audits. In 2014, they joined Brookdale as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, responsible for financial reporting analysis. In 2016, they became a Financial Reporting Supervisor, overseeing financial reporting activities. In 2018, they were promoted to Accounting Manager, where they managed the month-end close process and oversaw a team responsible for accounting for the company's debt and lease agreements. Kate currently serves as the Director of Corporate Accounting at Brookdale, starting in August 2021.

Kate Jensen (formerly Gabrielson) obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Kate then pursued further education and completed their Masters of Accountancy from the same university in 2011. In 2012, they obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
