Christine Ko

History Teacher at Brooke Charter Schools

Christine Ko is an experienced educator with a background in social studies and history teaching. Currently serving as a World History Teacher at Brooke Charter Schools since June 2017, Christine has revamped the curriculum to emphasize historical thinking skills and discussion-based learning. Previously, Christine taught at Metro Nashville Public Schools, where responsibilities included AP World History and Personal Finance across multiple academic years. Other roles include leading a summer program for the Nashville Scholars Academy and working as a Residential Teaching Assistant for the Center for Talent Development. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and History from Vanderbilt University.
