Lauren Horne

Lauren Horne is an experienced educator and administrator with a strong background in STEM education and leadership. Currently serving as Principal at Brooke Charter Schools since July 2018, Lauren previously held positions including STEM Assistant Principal and AP Biology Teacher. Lauren's expertise extends to curriculum consulting as a self-employed Science Curriculum & Instruction Consultant since May 2019. Prior experience includes significant roles at Achievement First, where Lauren achieved double-digit gains in the Math department as Academic Dean - STEM, and led various teaching positions at Salem Academy Charter School and District of Columbia Public Schools. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from Boston University and a Master of Education in Secondary Science from The George Washington University.
