Anthony Bavaro

Anthony Bavaro, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Brookfield Asset Management since June 2014. Prior to this role, Anthony held multiple positions including Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Sandell Asset Management from May 2001 to May 2014. Anthony began a professional career as an Auditor in the Financial Services Industry at Grant Thornton, where responsibilities included auditing hedge funds, broker-dealers, and investment companies from October 1997 to May 2001. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wagner College between 1993 and 1997.
