Husam Ashour

Husam Ashour, CMA has a diverse work experience in various accounting roles. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Accounts Payable Accountant at Kohler Co. In 2015, they transitioned to Vodafone as a General Ledger Accountant before joining MAGRABi in the same role. At MAGRABi, they also took on the responsibility of an Accounts Payable Accountant. In 2016, Husam moved on to PwC where they served as a Senior Accountant and later became the Regional Accounting and SFS Services Manager. Currently, they are working at Brookfield Asset Management as a Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) General Ledger Lead Accountant, where they demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and supports system process enhancements and reporting automation. Husam also assists in internal and external auditing process requirements.

Husam Ashour, CMA, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their General Secondary Certificate at Cairo International School from 2004 to 2007. Ashour also holds additional certifications, including ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and CMA (Certified Management Accountant), which they obtained in 2013 and 2012 respectively.
